British weather strikes again! Unfortunately, on Saturday when we went to the Balloon Fiesta, the launches were rained off. Despite this we had a great weekend and saw hot air balloons over Bristol on Friday and visited the Clifton Suspension Bridge

For nine very sunny days we holidayed with Neil and stayed with his friends Cliff and Sly in their villa near Callosa d'En Sarria (near Benidorm). We made full use of our hire car and visited places such as Guadalest and Valencia, but managed to get lost several times!

At the beginning of June we visited Jo, Nigel, Reece and Elisha in their log cabin near Lake Vyrnwy in Wales. The weather was excellent, but the midges were biting

The theme for our Pre-Pride Preparation Party this year was Milkshakes and after last year, it was a pleasure to get some good weather (on one day at least!) for Birmingham Pride. Although there was no parade, the gay village was in full party mode - Thanks to Mike and Peter for some of the photos

To celebrate Neil's birthday, which coincided with the May Bank Holiday, we visited Brighton for a long weekend of shopping, eating and drinking, with a few friends along the way
